What changed, and when.
Every release, feature, decision and cut across 6 live apps — kept here rather than summarised, so a decision that was later reversed still says so.
September 2026
1.6.0 — the week contains what its title promises
Load progression now shows on the session card, the September prescription audit engine landed with its tests, and a redeemed offer code is no longer mistaken for a free trial. 302 tests green.
Either button opens the microphone
iOS puts its own Stop on an alarm and it cannot be removed, so Stop now opens the recording too — and re-arms the chain behind it, because the system does not always run the intent when an alarm is swiped away. Onboarding came down from four screens to two.
Your wall, your drawer
Three pens, a rubber, and a line with weight from how fast your finger moves. A drawing that arrives replays stroke by stroke. Three hundred things to draw in a stencil drawer, with a recogniser that suggests the one you're sketching. You can take a drawing back, and clear your own page.
1.5.8 — every movement, filmed
A coach demonstrates the movement and the cues are drawn onto the picture — the elbows, the angle, the one thing to fix. Twenty-seven films so far, playing inside the session on the movement you're about to do, kept on your phone after the first play.
Friends: one emoji, one line
Sign in with Apple, a handle people can find you by, and a single short line a day — written so it never carries a name, a place or an event. Friends answer with one of six emoji. Off by default, and taking it down unshares it.
In build
The alarm, the recording, on-device transcription and the daily page are wired end to end, with the weekly story and monthly reading behind them. Not submitted — the alarm and Turkish speech still have to be proven on a real device, which no simulator can do.
1.4 — challenge a friend, and the Daily One
After your Daily IQ, send a challenge link: your friend plays the same questions, same order, and sees your score next to theirs. The Daily One asks everyone in the world the same scenario and shows what everyone said. Both work offline — the whole challenge lives inside the link.
2.0.1 live — and the circle is on
WishMeLuck: Luck You Can Hold is on the App Store, free, in English, French, Spanish and Turkish. The friend graph shipped switched on: find your people by @ or one link, draw on their pages, send letters. Signing in later now syncs your pages at once.
The morning gets a minute where nothing is asked
Onboarding now opens with the alarm and sets one before asking for anything. The waking minute is about thirty-three seconds of light and four measured lines — a smile the camera notices dismisses the bell, then an optional breath.
1.3 live — Transformation on the App Store
The signature eight-week program shipped: no gym, no equipment, six calibration questions, a dated target, and a review at the end of the block. Plus a rest bell for the phone that isn’t in your hand. First release was Aug 29.
1.3 — the journal, and what you ate
Matches and fuel in one backdate-able calendar. Log the last meal before you play and rate energy, legs, focus and stomach after; once there's enough of your own data the app tells you which habits went with better legs. A nutrition guide with every claim sourced (52 sources, nine sections) comes with it.
Hybrid Athlete Transformation, and the food to go with it
A signature eight-week program for people starting from nothing: four days a week, no gym, no equipment beyond a sturdy table. Four movements repeated sixteen times each, so every number you write down compares to the last one. It ships with its eating week — 64 recipes, none over ten minutes — and allergen filtering that removes what you cannot eat. At the end of the block, a review that shows your first numbers and your latest side by side, then matches you to what comes next.
2.1 — Inner Light, and a warmer voice
Energy Reset becomes Inner Light: Daily Practice. Every step of every practice now comes as a recorded voice — calm, unhurried, the same one each time — in place of the phone’s built-in speech. Ten traditions, 250 practices, one free in each.
Decision: 2.0 ships as a journal about the future
The friend graph is built and live on the server, and it stays switched off for launch. Version 2.0 is the personal half: write what you want to happen, make it real by your own hand, keep the record. — Superseded: the journal found its footing faster than expected, and the circle was switched on with 2.0.1 on 22 September.
1.0.1 — the post-launch audit
Camera-denied now shows a recovery screen and a log-by-hand option; the camera restarts after a call or a tab switch; the screen no longer sleeps mid-set. Rep counting now requires your hips to actually descend, and the weight only climbs when your average rep reaches parallel.
Food, and a hard paywall
A Food tab: a written week of meals matched to your training week, allergens filtered, no logging. And a decision: the app is Pro after onboarding. The quiz, plan preview and coach brief stay free; the tabs open to subscribers.
August 2026
The Book — a diary of intentions
A hidden, private page inside the app: write what you want to happen, draw it in yourself, mark it when it arrives. Nothing in the Book syncs or shows to anyone — enforced in code and proven by test. Manifesting as a practice, not a feed.
Feature-complete, pointed at the App Store
The whole loop is built and green in test: poster asks (words or photos), the three-rung effort ladder with on-device handwriting verification, the evidence wall, celebrations in text and voice, streaks and daily prompts. v1.0 is the personal manifest wall; the friend circle ships next.
Decision: no like button, ever
Support in Wish Me Luck is evidenced effort — a drawing, a signed note, a deed photographed in the world. If it costs nothing, it isn't in the app.
Live on the App Store
Spotter: AI Lifting Coach shipped — camera-scored squats, auto-progressing barbell lifts, spoken coaching and the Apple Watch companion. One subscription, seven days free.
2.0 — Energy Reset, and the ten schools
Morning Reset becomes Energy Reset: an all-day practice rather than a morning-only ritual. Ten energy schools shipped — Reiki, Conscious Breathing, Qigong, Meditation, Yoga & Mobility, Sound & Mantra, Cold & Heat, Sleep & Rest, Nature & Light, Mind & Journal — each with its own teachings and guided routines, one free routine per school, and tiered unlocks. They were renamed to the traditions’ own names in 2.1.
Benchmarks, destinations and an execution budget
Every program now declares where it is taking you, and measures it: 12 named tests, each written at three levels and taken twice so the two numbers compare. Every one of the 716 sessions is also scored for execution cost before it ships — nothing goes out that needs five stations claimed in sequence in a busy gym.
Check-ins are optional now
The daily reset goes straight to the practice. The energy check-in stayed, but it is a button you press when you want it — never a gate. The daily reminder is opt-in and set to your own time.
In build
Eight programs, the onboarding matcher, week-by-week plan and the guided session runner are wired and green in test. App Store submission next.
Four tabs: Coach, Wall, Tactics, Journal
DropVolley reorganised around four ways to get better. The camera-judged wall ladder (eight rungs, counted on-device), frame-by-frame swing analysis, and the thirty-lesson tactics course each got their own tab. Chapter 1 of Tactics is free, plus one lesson a day.
July 2026
Full-body support + Apple Watch
Every barbell lift now auto-progresses on its own working weight (StrongLifts-style), and the Apple Watch companion streams live reps, score and rest to your wrist.
June 2026
Real AI coach live
Post-set and post-session coaching now runs on a real language model — from your rep scores only, never your video.
May 2026
Submitted to the App Store
DropVolley build 10 is in App Store review. The submitted build ships the Today home, daily decision quiz, the 8-week PHEC plan, mobility flows, and the Drill / Match / Mobility tracker.
Submitted to the App Store
Hybrid Athlete build 8 is in App Store review — shipping free, multi-sport native: the rule-based daily planner, five hand-authored sport programs, periodized cycles, and the progress grid.
Submitted to the App Store
The first build shipped the notification-led ritual: weekday/weekend pings, the check-in, mode diagnosis, and the first-win action.
TestFlight opened
Invite-only TestFlight is live. Today home shows Daily Drill, Pro Shot, and the Drill / Match / Mobility tracker.
April 2026
TestFlight opened
First invite-only batch went out, on the free multi-sport planner that preceded today’s engine and its paywall.
Today home shipped
Daily Drill + Pro Shot cards added on the home screen. The mental streak and Drill / Match / Mobility donut chart followed.
Co-session matching launched
Swipe to find nearby hybrid athletes with matching sports + goals. Solo vs partner days now show on the 30-day grid. — Later cut: the Partners tab is switched off in the shipping app. It is a training engine, not a place to be social.
March 2026
Cut the daily tip widget
Pilot conversations said players scrolled past it every morning. Removed. Today hub focuses on the drill + match + mobility ring instead.
30-day grid made default view
Beta feedback was unanimous — the grid was more motivating than the streak counter. Streak counter demoted to detail view.
First Pro track: Rise & Flow
Five-minute guided movement reset, tied to Protect-mode mornings. First content track in TestFlight build 0.4.
February 2026
Mode language simplified
Old: ‘Defensive / Even / Aggressive’. New: ‘Protect / Steady / Push’. Felt less judgmental in conversation; copy still being refined.
Rule engine v2
Pull / push / lower / aerobic / mobility balance now enforced across a 7-day window, with profile-driven weighting.
January 2026
Weekday / weekend notification split
Two separate morning pings. Weekend defaults to one hour later. Customizable per slot.
One letter a month, when something here is worth hearing about.
