DropVolley
Tennis is decisions, not strokes — a swing coach, a wall that counts, tactics taught like a language, and a journal for the season.
DropVolley trains the part of tennis every other app leaves out — the decisions. Four tabs, each its own way to get better: an AI coach that reviews your swing, a wall that counts your reps on camera, thirty tactics lessons taught like a language, and a journal for your matches and what you ate.

The problem
Most tennis apps teach mechanics. The hard part is decision-making under pressure — when to flatten, when to slice, when to come in. That's the part coaches charge $200/hour for, and the part most players never train.
Why now
I played club tennis for a decade. The plateau wasn't power — it was reads. DropVolley is the trainer I wished I had: scenarios every morning, a quiz that catches your blind spots, and a plan that ties mind and body.
Why I'm building this
I built DropVolley because the gap between 'knows how to hit a forehand' and 'knows which forehand to hit' is the entire game above 4.0. Watching highlight reels doesn't move the needle. DropVolley is the system for the player who's done with content and ready to train the part that matters.

How it works
Set your baseline
Three minutes of scenarios gives you a Tennis IQ number and shows where your reads break down.
Pick a way in
Film a swing for the Coach, prop the phone at the Wall, open a Tactics lesson, or log yesterday's match.
Write the season down
Matches and fuel in one calendar. Once there's enough of your own data, it tells you which habits went with better legs.
Inside the app

Four ways to get better
Tennis is decisions, not strokes — 156 scenarios and four tabs.

Journal
Write the season down — any day, matches and fuel in one calendar.

Fuel
Your legs, explained — log the meal, rate how you played.

Tactics
Learn tactics like a language — 30 lessons, chapter 1 free.

Wall
The wall never misses. Now it counts — on-device, no tripod.

Coach
Film one swing. Get coached, frame by frame.
What it does
Coach — your swing, reviewed
Film a forehand, backhand, serve, volley or your footwork. The AI reads it frame by frame — preparation and grip, contact point, follow-through, balance — and gives you strengths and priority fixes. Your first swing is free.
Wall — it never misses. Now it counts.
Eight levels of wall drills, from a steady rally to serve-plus-one patterns. Prop your phone behind you: the camera counts every rep on-device, reads the ball against the net line, and grades the rung. No tripod, no upload.
Tactics — taught like a language
Thirty lessons, one decision at a time — court geometry, rally patterns, serve patterns, reading your opponent — each with its own court diagram and a quick check. Chapter 1 is free, and every player gets one free lesson a day.
Journal — your season, a day at a time
Matches and what you ate, in one calendar. Log a match in seconds, keyboard-free; log the last meal before you play and rate energy, legs, focus and stomach after. A sourced nutrition guide comes with it.
Daily One + challenges
One scenario question a day, the same for everyone, with the crowd's answer shown after yours. Send a challenge link and a friend plays the same questions — no server, works offline.
156 real match scenarios
Court-diagram scenarios written with certified coaches. Your Tennis IQ number, your streak, and doubles compatibility, mobility routines and a pre-match mental check for the rest of your game.

1.4 — challenge a friend, and the Daily One
After your Daily IQ, send a challenge link: your friend plays the same questions, same order, and sees your score next to theirs. The Daily One asks everyone in the world the same scenario and shows what everyone said. Both work offline — the whole challenge lives inside the link.
